NuoDB, Inc., on Tuesday announced the immediate availability of the Blackbirds Free Edition of the NuoDB product on the newly launched preview of the IBM Cloud Marketplace.
“The new IBM marketplace will be the primary destination for customers deploying cloud applications and services,” stated Barry Morris, NuoDB CEO and Co-Founder. “NuoDB was selected for its webscale distributed database architecture that supports SQL and ACID transactions. The NuoDB product uniquely provides IBM customers with the scale-out performance, continuous availability and geo-distribution features needed to deliver the benefits of cloud deployment.”
IBM announced the marketplace on Monday, April 28 with a limited number of elite preview vendors whose cloud software demonstrated high affinity with IBM cloud technology. The easily accessible marketplace includes both IBM and select third party offerings.
