Perhaps one of the perplexing things about cloud computing is the choice around renting time in someone else’s cloud (Amazon, Google, Rackspace or a myriad of others) or building your own. It’s not unlike the age-old car buyer’s dilemma, take the lower payments and lower total miles lease or buy the car and drive it for the long haul.
