In his session at @ThingsExpo, New York’s at the Javits Center, Davi Ottenheimer, EMC Senior Director of Trust, reviewed hands-on lessons with IoT devices and reveal a new risk balance you might not expect. Davi Ottenheimer, EMC Senior Director of Trust, has more than nineteen years’ experience managing global security operations and assessments, including a decade of leading incident response and digital forensics. He is co-author of the book “Securing the Virtual Environment: How to Defend the Enterprise Against Attack,” published in May 2012 by Wiley. He formerly was responsible for security at Barclays Global Investors (BGI), the world’s largest investment fund manager. Prior to BGI he was a “dedicated paranoid” at Yahoo! and responsible for managing security for hundreds of millions of mobile, broadband and digital home products. Davi received his postgraduate academic Master of Science degree in International History from the London School of Economics.
