WaveMaker, acquired by VMware in\u00a0March 2011, is a visual Rapid Application Development (RAD) software platform that will be used to grow and enhance Pramati&#8217;s cloud-based Java development capabilities. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p itemprop=\"articleBody\">WaveMaker simplifies the process of building enterprise Java applications to boost both developer productivity and quality, without compromising flexibility. WaveMaker applications are cloud-ready, highly scalable, multi-device, and backed by a strong developer community that has doubled to 35,000 active monthly users over the last two years.
