The app is available to download for <a href=\"http:\/\/cts.businesswire.com\/ct\/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fquickbooksonline.intuit.com%2F&amp;esheet=50490567&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=QuickBooks+Online&amp;index=1&amp;md5=392e47b66c9b1451ad0d114c566fcad3\">QuickBooks Online<\/a> subscribers on <a href=\"http:\/\/cts.businesswire.com\/ct\/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fplay.google.com%2Fstore%2Fapps%2Fdetails%3Fid%3Dcom.intuit.quickbooks%26feature%3Dsearch_result&amp;esheet=50490567&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=Google+Play&amp;index=2&amp;md5=ba158de17ed5360e4bbe7e090a28babd\">Google Play<\/a> at no additional cost. <\/span>QuickBooks Mobile enables small businesses to access customer information, create, send and review estimates and invoices, and record payments from Apple and Android mobile devices.<\/p>\n<p>QuickBooks Mobile offers Android tablet users the same functionality provided to Android phone users, but with a native tablet experience. The app serves small businesses that want to accomplish more work on mobile devices. Industry analysts say the trend is on the fast track, with Android claiming a significant share:<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-13616\"><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"bwlistitemmargb\">32.5 percent of small businesses currently own tablets, and 31.6<br \/>\npercent plan to purchase tablets in the next 12 months, according to<br \/>\nan IDC report published in October.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bwlistitemmargb\">31.9 percent of small businesses purchased or planned to purchase<br \/>\ntablets in 2012 to substitute laptops, according to an iGR study<br \/>\nreleased in March.<\/li>\n<li class=\"bwlistitemmargb\">The number of global tablet and smartphone users will surpass the<br \/>\nnumber of PC users by July 2013, based on projections from KPCB<br \/>\npartner Mary Meeker in a November presentation. She also noted that<br \/>\nAndroid adoption is growing six times faster than that of iPhones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cSmall business owners want to get more done everyday, so mobile apps afford them a fantastic way to stay organized and productive from either their computers or mobile devices,\u201d said Dan Wernikoff, senior vice president and general manager of Intuit\u2019s Financial Management Solutions division. \u201cIn the past year, we\u2019ve seen our QuickBooks Mobile users triple, and adoption amongst Android phone users outpace iPhone users.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith tablets becoming pervasive, we\u2019re creating QuickBooks Mobile experiences that take full advantage of the devices\u2019 unique capabilities to help small businesses save time managing their finances.
