roll out until next year, and\u00a0it might not arrive until mid-2022 for some users.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span data-cke-copybin-start=\"1\">\u200b<\/span>That&#8217;s according to a tweet from Microsoft\u2019s Twitter account for its flagship <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/operating-systems\">operating system<\/a>, which responded to a query about the Windows 11 release date from computer science student Jure Zajc, under a post previewing a video trailer for the latest version of the OS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWindows 11 is due out later in 2021 and will be delivered over several months,\u201d said the verified Twitter account, adding that \u201cthe rollout of the upgrade to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/software\/operating-systems\/359867\/windows-10-end-of-life-confirmed\">Windows 10<\/a> devices already in use today will begin in 2022 through the first half of that reports\u00a0as Microsoft confirms it&#8217;s planning to review its stringent Windows 11 system requirements, which state that users must be using an 8th-generation Intel CPU or newer and a TPM 2.0 chip installed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn support of the Windows 11 system requirements, we\u2019ve set the bar for <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/windows-insider\/2021\/06\/24\/preparing-for-insider-preview-builds-of-windows-11\/\">previewing in our Windows Insider Programme<\/a>\u00a0to match the minimum system requirements for Windows 11, with the exception for TPM 2.0 and CPU family\/model,\u201d the Windows Team stated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/windows-insider\/2021\/06\/28\/update-on-windows-11-minimum-system-requirements\/\">blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy providing preview builds to the diverse systems in our Windows Insider Programme, we will learn how Windows 11 performs across CPU models more comprehensively, informing any adjustments we should make to our minimum system requirements in the future.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Windows Team added that it \u201clook[s] forward to the product feedback and learnings\u201d amid a backlash against its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/operating-systems\/microsoft-windows\/360027\/microsoft-fixes-windows-11-upgrade-bug\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/operating-systems\/microsoft-windows\/360027\/microsoft-fixes-windows-11-upgrade-bug\">PC Health Check tool<\/a>. The app had been\u00a0recommended for users to find out whether their device would be compatible with Windows 11.
