The cloud giant previously offered\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/amazon-elastic-compute-cloud-ec2\" >EC2<\/a>instances for Windows and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/linux\" >Linux<\/a>, but has now opened it up to macOS which is a popular system for many developers.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s more, AWS has also said that cloud support for devices with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itpro.co.uk\/hardware\/357720\/apple-unveils-new-generation-mac-lineup-powered-by-the-new-m1-chip\" >Apple&#8217;s new M1 chip<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0planned for 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>AWS will make Apple computers available in its data centres, starting with the Mac Mini, which will help developers to create and test apps remotely rather than maintain their own devices.
