This is a win-win for customers,\u201d said Sanjay Poonen, COO of customer operations at VMware.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re also happy to welcome Oracle to the VMware Cloud Provider programme, which will allow them to migrate and manage workloads running on VMware Cloud Foundation in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Becoming part of VMware\u2019s Cloud Provider programme means the firm and its vibrant partner ecosystem will be able to sell such solutions. What\u2019s more, it means customers will be able to take advantage of the recent investments Oracle has made in its autonomous solutions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The VMware tie-up follows hot on the heels of a multi-cloud partnership with Microsoft, which essentially connects the two services and enables joint customers to leverage historic investments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Joint customers also seem happy with the news, which is not too dissimilar to the recent partnership Oracle announced with Microsoft.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOracle and VMware are technology providers that we depend on to run our organisation successfully.
