The study found that enterprises are placing a high priority on augmenting existing systems and replacing older technologies and data platforms with new cloud-based BI and predictive analytics ones. Cloud data storage (object, file, or block) and data virtualisation or federation (both 32%) are the next-most planned for technologies by enterprises when it comes to investing in the analytics and BI initiatives.
