{"id":14781,"date":"2015-05-26T10:10:19","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T10:10:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.businesscloudnews.com\/?p=225751"},"modified":"2015-05-26T10:10:19","modified_gmt":"2015-05-26T10:10:19","slug":"capita-buys-pervasive-to-boost-mobility-expertise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icloud.pe\/blog\/capita-buys-pervasive-to-boost-mobility-expertise\/","title":{"rendered":"Capita buys Pervasive to boost mobility expertise"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_138951\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 310px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.businesscloudnews.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/122\/files\/2013\/05\/Handshake.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-138951\" alt=\"Capita is acquiring Pervasive to boost networking, mobility expertise\" src=\"http:\/\/www.businesscloudnews.com\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/122\/files\/2013\/05\/Handshake-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Capita is acquiring Pervasive to boost networking, mobility expertise<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>UK IT and professional services outfit Capita has acquired Pervasive, an IT solutions provider specialising in mobility and wireless networking services.<\/p>\n<p>Pervasive, which consists of both Pervasive Networks (a large Aruba Networks channel partner) and Beovax Computer Services (an HP and VMware cloud technology specialist Pervasive bought in 2013), is an IT service provider catering mainly to higher education, local government and the health services sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Capita said the acquisition will help bolster its position in those sectors as well as its expertise in networking.<\/p>\n<p>Following the acquisition Pervasive will sit within\u00a0Capita IT Enterprise Services as part of the Technology Solutions division, and will focus on networking, mobility, and BYOD.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are continuing to see a shift in working habits with the increased use of mobile devices, requiring flexible technology that enables employees to enhance productivity,\u201d said Peter Hands, executive director, Capita IT Enterprise Services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPervasive has a strong record of providing wireless networks to clients across multiple sectors, offering the agility to respond to changing customer requirements.
